Confession of no use any more

Rejecting the bail application of the 9 accused in the Malegaon blast case the MCOCA court said that merely on the basis of the confession of ‘Aseemanand’ it cannot grant bail.
The court said that it cannot rely on Aseemanand’s confession simply because the confession statements reveal that Aseemanand has some some knowledge of the blast which cannot be made ground for granting bail. At this stage the material before the court is not sufficient and based only on the confession copy provided to the court the 9 accused cannot be granted bail court added.

It is however very unfortunate that CBI has filed an application earlier asking for permission for further investigation in this case that clearly implies to the fact that CBI itself was not satisfied with the investigations it carried out earlier and court has observed that investigations carried out by CBI earlier cannot be considered unsatisfactory or improper. One cannot deny the fact that from Aseemanand’s confession it is clear that it is the right-wing that was involved in the major blasts that were carried out in the country. The judgement seems to be based on the evidences that were produced before the court earlier and not on the confession copy of Aseemnand. The court must be aware about the fact that how things have turned out in this case and how innocent people have been made victims of the dirty religious politics in this case after Aseemamand revealed hard facts.

The question here is that why the court has then granted bail to ‘Abdul Kaleem’ who was earlier made prime accused in the Malegaon blast case and it is only after Aseemanand’s confession that he was granted bail and released from the jail while the investigations in the case are still on. This move by the court not to grant the bail based on the same confession copy is however contradictory to the verdict that has come out earlier in context to 'Abdul Kaleem'.

Is the court skeptical about the confessions made by 'Aseemanand' in front of the megistrate or confession has lost it's value in the eyes of the court?

Gandhian of the new era. Devastating future ahead.

India has been phenomenal in terms of giving birth to the leaders that lead the country to a devastating future.  Before independence a man who was earlier practicing law in South Africa left everything and came back to India to free the nation from colonial rule. India remembers this man as Gandhi and since childhood we are taught the role Gandhi played in the freedom of the country. Why we never dare to speak about the impact that Gandhi’s revolution had? Are we not ready to accept the fact that Partition of 1947 was an outcome of a bad leadership? The truth is that Indians are born intelligent but some are gifted with the ability to sense the opportunity and some are gifted with an obsession for the nation. The former will pretend to be a Gandhian .The latter will be a pure soul and fail because of his obsession. Nation itself is the prime witness of what happened on 23rd march 1931 when three young men were hanged who were actually the obsessed lovers of the nation.

Gandhi was an outcome of the colonialism in India who sensed the opportunity of leading the nation that had become poor and where people had become slaves in their own country. No, doubt some of his revolutions actually pushed the Britishers to free the country but Gandhi failed to demonstrate his leadership where he should had and compromised on Bhagat Singh’s death sentence and later compromised on country’s partition. Becoming a revolutionary in this country is easy as it’s easy to influence the sentiments of the poor Indians and take advantage of it anytime and this is what we’ve been witnessing for the last 100 years.

What we’ve witnessed from 5th to 9th April on Jantar Mantar was a result of mere public agitation against the system. Anna played his best cards as he sensed the opportunity at the right time when country has witnessed major scams like 2G spectrum, Adarsh society and common wealth. He took advantage of the public agitation and influenced the sentiments of the poor Indians and sat on his fast after media has already exposed major scams. Anna sensed that he had already won half the battle and he should thank media for this that exposed the government. The only thing that was left to be won was the public support and that too came as soon as media started supporting the mission. People supported the mission blindly without even knowing the basics of the JanLokPal bill. The only thing they were concerned about is the old man sitting on fast who is claiming to be fighting for the nation.

Youth support was recognizable but what our youth has failed to understand is that corruption is the outcome of our society that lacks equality in status and economic conditions and what they supported blindly will not bring any change that could address the core cause of the corruption. Even if India would produce a dozen of Anna overnight the entire Anna brigade would fail to eradicate corruption because if inequality in socio economic status will not be addressed how material corruption could vanish?

This was not the first time when youth was under the influence of some old man sitting on fast claiming to be fighting for the nation and somewhere compromised with the government in the end as Gandhi and Nehru did during Partition of the nation and now Anna and Party did by agreeing to the condition that drafting of the bill will be recorded but there will be no telecast. What’s the use then if public who gathered in support of this old man will not be able to see what has been drafted in the bill and under what circumstances? No, doubt that from a being a social activist to being a revolutionary Anna covered this journey in just 4 days. While it took Gandhi 30 years to be remembered as a revolutionary and no doubt if Anna walks into politics it will take him just 3 years to throw the UPA government and NDA’s new era will begin in 2014.

During his fast Anna gave clear indications of being influenced by Nazism as he praised Adolf Hitler and then an unusual thing happened when an old man claiming to be fighting for the nation started praising Gujarat CM and people were surprised see this sudden change in their revolutionary praising a CM who directed one of the most horrifying genocidal episodes in the Indian history. If growth and development is the only measurement for a CM to be claimed as successful at the cost of human lives then it is better to live under dictatorship than being in a democracy.  Anna clearly gave his indications of being a rightist and this could be in favor of BJP if at some point of time Anna joins the BJP crusade.

Nothing much will change for the poor Indians as issue is not the corruption that Anna raised but the inequality in society that has been left untouched post independence rather Anna has taught the nation how to fight for illegitimate demands and become a revolutionary overnight. The only condition is that the time of hitting the target should be right as in Gandhi’s and Anna’s case. Anna’s lesson to the nation will lead to a devastating future when some third grade unknown social activist would sit on fast and play his/her cards on public sentiments claiming to be fighting for the nation and people would join the crusade without knowing the actual issue and the basis of the demands.
